Author Elliot Manarin
Elliot Manarin is a filmmaker, producer, photographer, and screenwriter based in Essex, England. He is also a trained falconer who has worked with raptors at the award-winning Coda Falconry since 2013. In 2021, he received a National Diploma in Zoology, and he is an expert on one special raven: Loki. Raising Loki is his first book.

Very well written, and insightful. There is certainly a magic to birds, and Loki is no different. He’s grown up to be such a good boy! ❤️
Filled with Horror, Heart, and Happily Ever After, this tale of Loki, the raven, and his human, Elliot, is a page-turning account of patience, pain, and bonding. I highly recommend this read, especially if you have a love of ravens.
Elliot has written a loving, insightful book about building an intense relationship with Loki. His writing style is frank, realistic and at times poetic. I often have teary eyes. I am allowing one chapter a night because I know I will not want it to end. “I stopped looking at him as a bird”- a perfect summary.
