Mi pequeño libro negro del terror

I can't emphasize enough how much I loved this book! I've always been a huge fan of very short stories, and these made my horror-loving heart so happy. There was something to represent nearly every horror theme I have ever appreciated, down to the eerie nature of ice cream trucks, and the terrible things from childhood I always feared lived in the darkness. Definitely don't skip this!

Reading through this little book, I never knew what to expect from one page to another. Each story is short enough to read in a few minutes, yet leaves a lasting, unsettling impression. Without giving too much away, you'll never think of ice cream or lemonade the same way again.

Absolutely brilliant! Small they might be, but these are some of the most twisted, unhinged horror stories I've ever read. Delicious in a very dark way. My Little Black Book of Horror manages to pack one hell of punch within its 104 pages!

Of the nineteen bite-sized horror delights in this book, I think Ice Cream was my favourite. An absolutely horrifying premise that makes you think twice about where your dairy products are ACTUALLY coming from..

I love the way Cassandra L. Thompson writes. I haven't read another author since Anne Rice that can make me feel as though I really know the characters in a book. It's hard for me to explain but it's less like reading a story and more like listening to a friend catch me up on everything that's happened since we last spoke. If you love gothic stories with a supernatural bite to them then Cassandra's books are not to be missed. The stories in this book are smaller than some of her others but still contain the soul that I have come to expect from her writing
